This is for those folk who ask "Just how many computers have you got, Steve?" And its also a way for me to document what runs where and how.
My cascading boot menus used to be one of the wonders of the modern world until I needed to upgrade the old computers. I didn't see the point in trashing things that worked perfectly well, but were too valueless to be worth the bother of selling, so the network was born. Goodbye boot menus, hello distributed processing.
Things pretty much all started with the Amstrad, then I upgraded to the first ICL, then I got another ICL because it was such a bargain, then the MicroVAX became available so I couldn't pass that opportunity up... After that things got pretty much out of hand.
